Through the technology development/demonstration projects supported by the Division, number of state-of- the art technologies have been developed and successfully demonstrated to the end users in the field as well as at industrial sites. Some of the technologies recently transferred to industry for their commercial exploitation include the following:

• Automation Systems for Retrofittment of Mini-Hydel Stations, Custom Power Technology, Urban Traffic Control System, Area Traffic Control System (part of Intelligent Transport System),  Black Box for Automobiles, Small Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV).,  Grid Connected Solar Photo Voltaic Power Plant
• The following technologies developed through funding from DIT are available to interested industries for commercial exploitation:
• Pump Efficiency  Monitoring System,  Automatic Counterfeit Currency Detector
  Low Cost Power Quality Analyser for industrial & commercial applications 
  Paper Dirt Speck Analyser
• Automated Liquid Media Dispensing System
  WebNC- Internet based Collaborative  Design & Manufacturing  System for Intelligent CNC Machining
• Computer Controlled New Drafting System to produce multi colour pattern blending to get fancy effect in garment and made ups
• Hybrid Layered Manufacturing
• Low Voltage Embedded Controller for Hybrid Electric Three Wheeler
• Copyrights/patents have been filed based on the work done in  the following projects Area Traffic Control, System and Low Voltage Embedded Controller for Hybrid Electric Three-wheeler.
