Project: Trainers Training & Student Talent Transformation for CBSE
- Scheme/Project Name: Trainers Training & Student Talent Transformation for CBSE
- Project Deliverables:
- Setting up of Edu-FOSS Labs in selected CBSE schools
- Teachers Training (approx 5000 teachers) on FOSS tools by conducting workshops for CBSE teachers
- Development of e-learning repository and creating multimedia content as per CBSE requirements
- Publishing quarterly e-journal on “Creative Computing@School”
- Project Timeline(s): 36 months (October 2010 – October 2013)
- Project Outcome:
- Repository of e-learning resources for Math, Science and social science subjects for CBSE students. Tutorial/modules content will be made interesting and meaningful with appropriate visualization of the content followed by animation, pictures and voice over. The content will be available in multiple formats like CDs, DVDs, USBs and hard copies.
- 5000 teachers shall be trained
- Customized EduBOSS distribution for CBSE school requirements with relevant utilities and learning resources on few selected topics initially relevant to ICT.
